Have you ever thought about a career in the Renewable and Subsea Engineering industry and not known where to start? Do you want to learn in-demand skills and have a challenging and exciting future in the energy sector? If you’re looking to earn while you learn too, this Metal Fabricator apprenticeship is for you.
As a Metal Fabricator apprentice, you’ll weld and fabricate metal structures and components. Based at our purpose-built Energy Academy and working mainly in manufacturing plants or at construction sites, you’ll use a variety of tools to construct metal-based assembly components.
To be successful on this apprenticeship, you’ll need to be able to take a product from its initial design to its finished components ready for assembly. To achieve this goal, you must combine technical skills with coordination and attention to detail, with the end goal of creating components and products that meet the designer’s specifications.
