Skills Bootcamp in Welding Inspection - Level 3

This course runs every September.

You will be notified of the next available start date once you have submitted your application.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Open to anyone aged 19+ either unemployed, looking to work in this emerging sector or employed and looking to retrain into a skilled profession.

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve Level 3 in Welding Skills.

You will also achieve:

• Basic First Aid
• Working at Height
• Welder Approval BSEN 9606-1 (PA Flat position).

• First aid at work
• Working at height
• MIG Welding.

• Practical workshop sessions
• Group activities
• Demonstrations
• Classroom-based theory sessions.

• Practicals
• Portfolio work.

This course will be enriched with visits to WD Close, Shepherd Offshore and Smulders projects.

Upon successful completion of this course, you could progress onto a full time level 3 welding and fabrication course or onto an apprenticeship.
