In a report published by the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) on 22nd April 2020 it was reported that “The number of incidents of work-related violence in 2018/19 was estimated at 739,000 with assaults accounting for 356,000 of these and 383,000 threats to victims.”
One in every 50 workers are victims of assault or harassment. If you want to increase your knowledge and understanding of workplace violence and harassment across any sector, this is the course for you.
You will focus on the study of possible causes of violence in the workplace and how to reduce the risks whilst learning about safe working policies and procedures as well as equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
